Peace's eyes were wide and wondering as she walked down the narrow staircase, wondering just where it would lead her. She had skipped the whole "I wonder if someone will greet me" phase at the front gates, mostly because she hadn't been awake when she'd been tossed in here. A shudder ran down Peace's back as she remembered the previous night, when the men had attempted to rape her. Fortunately, Peace still had her virginity, although the price she'd had to pay was as a tad odd. She had to stay here. That thought had been imprinted on her mind as soon as she'd woken up in the mansion, and she hadn't yet attempted to leave. She didn't know that she wanted to.
Darkness surrounded her as she went lower and lower into the mansion, her curiosity spiking as natural light quit existing. What was down here that had to be so low and away from the rest of the world? She couldn't have turned away had she wanted to, but Peace couldn't claim that she really and truly wanted to. Long legs extending to take the stairs two at time, in a hurry to find out just what was down there. Her imagination ran rampant as her eyes greedily sped ahead of her feet. Of course, when you're taking narrow stairs two at a time and aren't looking where you're going, you run the risk of falling...
And that's just what Peace did. Her feet stumbled and terror rushed through her now small body as she dove headfirst for the bottom of the staircase. She hit her head on the wall and her back on the stairs, and fell the rest of the way down. A moan escaped her throat involuntarily as she let her blue eyes wander the room she'd fallen into, wishing that she was standing up to take it all in. But she really couldn't see anything, the room was as dark as the staircase she'd just fallen down. No one was in here, or at least no one that she could feel. Peace had an uncanny ability to hear the sounds of a person breathing, and if she couldn't then she could usually feel someone else in the room, but Peace didn't know exactly why. And she didn't question it, she just accepted it.
Peace swallowed hard, knowing that she had to check herself over to make sure she hadn't broken anything on her fall. Slowly, she wiggled her pinky, and then moved on to the rest of her muscles and bones, ending with her neck. She'd kept that still the whole time, just in case that was the one she'd broken, not wanting to do anymore damage to it. A sigh of relief rushed out of her when she found that everything was ok, and so she sat up slowly, not wanting to rush it. Peace turned her head this way and that, looking about her and trying to make sense of her surroundings. She'd still failed to move out of the way of the stairs, and had completely forgotten about them.

Zaine was upstairs doing some other things as he then came to the basement door. He put his hand on it as he turned the knob and opened it up. Closing the door be hide him as he then started walking down the many stairs to the basement. Zaine was almost at the bottom when he then seen a girl was by the steps. "Hello" He then said to her as he wanted to get her attention as he had now stopped on the stairs as he looked at her and waited for an answer.
