It was seven o'clock and Kato was just getting out of detention. He felt no need to rush home though for there was no one to come home to. "Man going the same old route to school and back home is boring, I know I can go down that old street that everyone says is haunted." Kato said to himself. So he turned a corner and started walking down an abandoned ally. After walking for miles, and taking various turns Kato was sure that he was lost. Getting frustrated Kato yelled out to no one in particular, "Great now how am I going to get back home!!!Wait what's that?" It was then that Kato noticed an odd mansion behind some iron gates. Going up to examine it Kato pressed his face against the bars. "hmm I wonder who lives in this place, must be supper rich" Kato mused as he examined the mansion and its gardens.

“The Harakus who live here ARE very rich…But I suggest you don’t come in here.” A voice stated from behind a tree and a figure stepped from behind it. It belong to a young female who appeared around 19 years old. She had long raven black hair to her mid back with piercing blue eyes. She was clad in a black coat over a fancy blue silk shirt and navy blue sleek dress pants. She seemed surprised of Kato’s arrival-like she never see a lost person before.
“If you enter here…You’ll regret it. You will be trapped here for a LONG time.” The young woman gave a sigh as she leaned against the wall. She seemed to be deep thought about something. That something is troubling her greatly. She gave a sigh and looked up at Kato.
“So…How did you came to this place? I haven’t seen people passing by here for a LONG time. They sadly think this place is cursed~” The young woman stated with a small smile. She blinked and gave out a chuckle. "Oh how rude of me- I am Kagerou Kiryuu."

Kato was startled when he heard the voice coming from behind the tree, not expecting to receive an answer. He didn't quite understand why the girl who appeared from behind the tree was warning him against going into the yard. Why would he be trapped by just entering through the gate.
"Nice to meet you, my name is Kato Ishimura, as for how I got here, well I kinda got lost, though I have heard of a place like this being haunted, I guess this is that place" Kato answered Kagerou. "Anyway what did you mean by me not being able to leave if I enter, what would force me to stay here?" Kato asked confused.

"Well....It didn't used to be haunted. I don't remember exactly when....But it used to be a normal house. However a 'curse' fall over this mansion years back- along with the Kingston Mansion." Kagerou stated with a bored sigh as she pulled out a paddle ball and began to play it it. It seemed like she had to explain this in the past.
"This curse's source is unknown. However I hate it because it’s effects. Currently- the curse forces the people who enter past the gate to stay here. So I am a cage bird in a way. Not that I can leave anyway or I should or anyone else on that mater. Or else n he/she diesthe moment that he/she crosses over the boarder line. I don’t want to explain why in detail however.” Kagerou stated as she clenched his fist very tightly. So tightly it that her fingernails cut into her palm- causing it to bleed. Kagerou didn’t even wince in pain as she stared at her palms. In a matter of seconds right before Kaito’s eyes- the wounds began to rapidly heal. Soon her palms was back to normal.
“There is some other side effects of the curse. Some are bad- like the personality change among the original inhabitants- except my brother and me. Some are good- like the rapid healing, you stop aging (at a point), and you get a longer lifespan.” Kagerou stated with a depressed grim smile. She appeared clearly discussed about the situation right now.
