An irritated growl escaped her throat as her gun pointed at the door. This was just a repeat of every day. Her hat tipped to the side, and her boots where planted on the wooden foot, being shoulder length apart as her red eyes stayed upon the door. Another day with someone so annoying, the boy needed to learn what would happen if he kept it up. And at the moment, he seemed to be hiding within his room, a place Ember wouldn't go. Smoke came from the gun she held in her right hand, and there was a bullet whole through the door that sat in front of her. She wasn't playing around anymore.
Another joke wasn't wanted. Not one about how she looked like the mad hatter, even if that had been what she'd been going for, a comment wasn't needed. Nor was one wanted about how soon she'd be another year over, another year stuck within this place. It ticked and ticked, until it couldn't anymore. And once all of them from the runt caught up, she seemed to go off. This was just the beginning of what he would get from her.
Ember seemed to have a smile on her face, even when she was mad she couldn't frown. It gave her that evil look, her mother had said. Her lips were twisted upward as her strawberry hair hung loosely around her, flowing on her back. Her hat tilted even more and she brought the gun closer to her, before blowing the rest of the smoke away and letting her hand fall to her side. The gun seemed to clash with what she wore. A Halloween costume, it was the only thing she owned in the house, and was the main thing she was saw in. The day she got trapped in this place, was the day of her birth, along with the day kids went trick or treating. Of course, who wouldn't go for the candy? And it was just fun to dress up.
She'd tried the mad hatter look, but twisted it. Thus she got this, an angelic looking girl, with an almost evil attitude wielding a gun. Her mother should have never given it to her. With a bang her foot made contact with the door before her voice came out. Not loud at all, it seemed soft as though she wouldn't harm a thing. But that was just how her voice was, no matter how you looked at her, she just wouldn't be the angel you would imaged her to be. "One more, brat. And the next bullet wont be going through your door." With that she started away from the door.
Her red eyes had a glint, that showed she wasn't joking. Ember couldn't kill the kid, but she could hurt him enough to where it wouldn't be hard to throw him over the fence.

((ugh…I feel ashamed for posting here…It’s so short…o.o;)) “I suggest you control your temper…” A cold tone voice stated from behind Ember. It was so chilling that the normal person would have formed goosebumps at the sound of it. It was that cold and chilling and very terrifying. It came from somewhere in a dark corner. With a clatter- someone steeped out from the shadows.
It belonged to a pale skin tall male- who was around 6 feet and 7 inches tall. His hair was of a gray-silver color. It suited him for his icy voice and the cold look on his face. It was neat yet had a wavy feel to it as it framed his face. It was slightly longer then the normal male’s hair-because it ended just a few inches below his neck. His icy blue-purple eyes peered at Ember-giving her calculating cold glare. As if analyzing her soul/spirit itself and not just the situation.
He was currently clad in a navy blue satin shirt. Over it was a long black coat with dark blue lining with silver marking. In his one of his arms rested a think load of heavy books. In his right hand was a silver gun. As if he was ready to use it at a moment noticed. Anyone who stayed long enough would know who he is- Fubuki Kiryuu. The Haruka mansion's chief secretary and Head Librarian. Meaning he is very high class in this house.
"If you keep up- you might be disciplined by the Head of the House. That is not a favorable thing to happen." Fubuki stated with a cold sinister smirk. His blue-purple eyes gave a demonic gleam in the light. "You might get tortured or worse: end up as a slave. Now don't you do not want that to happen?"
"I suggest you control your temper. It'll be the better for you. At least controll it until someone figures a way to stop this blasted curse." Fubuki stated with a small smile as he relaxed up a bit. His sinister aura faded away as he calmed down.

She felt short at the moment, even if she was tall for a girl, almost being a six feet herself. Almost. Ember wasn't use to someone speaking out to her, mainly she hadn't thought someone would be here. It was usually just her and the brat, the floor seemed almost lifeless at times. Maybe because it was the top floor? But her room was on it, maybe she should have relocated, maybe that would stop the kid from bugging her. That couldn't be helped anymore, it would most likely be hard to find a room and the person next door wouldn't mind being next to her. Even if some knew her in the house, they knew how she acted.
Ember wasn't an angel, even if she almost looked like one. Strawberry just didn't get that trait, it was the only thing from her father. Her temper was her own, and she didn't need someone telling her to control it. It was called a short temper for a reason, she'd gotten into pleanty of fights form it, and thanks to the gun, she almost seemed evil. But that was her mothers mistake, wasn't it? Who gives their daughter a gun before they go out to trick or treat? Even if the black thing rested at her side, she had the reflexes that could amaze almost anyone, and it wouldn't be hard to pull it up.
"My fate in this house has already been decided; Nothings going to change it." That look was still on her face, and her head seemed to tilt a bit. Her fate was decided already, mainly by her. She'd chosen to enter the house that night, she'd chosen to be what she was. And she'd chosen to say what she was, if she wanted it, she could be a slave. But why be lower than that? It wasn't meant to sound rude, but if she became a slave, didn't that alone make her seem lower to others, even if she pointed a gun and shot it? It showed she had nothing, so she chose a path that wouldn't involve that. "I can choose a different direction. And either one really wouldn't change a thing, no would it?"
An eye brow was raised. She didn't no who he was, and she almost didn't care. Ember didn't no many in the house, and the few she knew ended up only knowing her by strawberry, her real name wasn't heard a lot. "If you have a problem with my temper, i suggest you find a different hall to travel down." She didn't know who she was talking back too, and if she had, she still probably would have said it.

“Tch- the way you speak of fate…It’s so brash and naive.” The young man stated with a sigh as he rolled his eyes. He seemed irritated along with one other feeling. What was it? Oh yes- it was jealously. Jealously of her being so bold and daring. Jealously of her being one who took control of her fate- no matter what anyone had said. This made him fill green with envy. However he shook it off quickly- human emotions like that are not good. They misguide you down the wrong path and cloud your mind. “But if you insist- that is your point of view. I will just say ‘I told you so’ when the Head of this House gets word of your actions.”
This made him slightly shiver in fear. That man- or should be call him wolf in human skin- is a monster sometimes. Sure he used to be nice and can still be- but at times he was terrifying. That is a big accomplishment to get fear out of him. However that doesn’t mean he shows it outwardly. He didn’t show an ounce of fear externally, not one bit. Instead he keeps his emotions bottle up inside his mind and heart- like the usual.
“As for your temper: like I am moving. I usually come here at this time on my route to my office.” The young man stated with a harsh glare. He guessed that the young woman in front of him doesn’t know he is. Most residents know who he is- for he is the Head Secretary and Librarian at this place. Not to mention him being called the Ice Prince for his cold demeanor. Of course- that doesn’t matter greatly to him of what they say about him. It not he interacts with a lot of people here anyway. The only one who he really interacts is with his sister.
Usually he is cooped up in his office/lab. There he does his business and research. Mainly the research is about the curse/house and trying to figure out exactly what is going on at this place. He usually stays there all the time- except for going to the bathroom or library. Meaning he sometimes stays awake for days and sometimes skips his meals. It’s unhealthy but it must be done to figure out what is going on exactly here.

Ember seemed to let her crimson gaze move from him, as though she didn't really care as to what he said, and instead looked up at the ceiling. Finding the patter the wood made mildly interesting. The way it looked, because it was old and how some seemed to just disappear into another piece. Some twisted and turned, and her eyes followed it, making her go cross eyed one time before she gave up on following it and let them wonder back to him. Even if she didn't wish for them to do so, it just seemed that he was the only other interesting thing in the hall, that wouldn't make her eyes hurt.
"I'm a naive girl, apparently." She'd been called that over and over again. Her mother had said it, the teachers had said it, other students had said it along with there parents. She'd heard that word so much, that it had been drilled into her head from a very early age, and she hated it because of that. But it made life fun. How could you really say you lived life if you didn't do something that involved being stupid? Naive seemed to be the same thing, or at least everyone figured it was.
You couldn't be one or the other, not to Ember, if you were one then you were the other as well. "Then say it when that time comes. It wont bother me in the least bit." A smirk lingered on her face, one that had faded from that grin that had once been there, the twisted looking one. But it was still a smirk. She didn't really care; nothing he said would really make her change how she acted around the house. Things rarely got to the blond, and that was just a fact. Ember couldn't be fazed by comments, too many had been thrown at her, that it bounced off of her now.
Being brave was something she got from her ass of a father, along with that came the smart ass mouth. But that was just too hard to stop, words never got caught in her throat. Not once. "There's more than one hall that leads to the same place, you should try taking them. It leads to mush kinder people." They weren't kinder, if anything meaner. Rip your head off mean. Ember didn't even like going down there, it wasn't fear, she just didn't want to use all of her bullets yet...

"However- Being a Naive can be considered a good thing at certain occasions." Fubuki stated as a small smirk appeared on her features. He found this girl entertaining and amusing. It was different from his boring dull life."It is especially good in today's dark and dreadful society."
"Your amusing you know that? Few ever gave smart allic responses to me. In fear I might use them for an experimentmental guinea pig." He said as a chuckle escaped his lips. He ran his hands through his hair and gave Ember a grim smile.
"I can easiliy handle people like you- thank you very much." Fubuki growled and gave an irritated eye twitch. With a flick of his wrist he pulled a gun out and aimed at Ember. However he lowered it and gave out a sigh. "Pointless to shoot anyone anyway: it won't kill them or anything."
