It had only been a week since he was "rescued" so to speak by this curseful mansion. There was a rumor that if you tried to leave, you would die. Emro didn't like the vomit like taste in his mouth, a sheer metaphore, it left in his mouth, that the thought brought. He was run out of his small town for being a researcher of things people didn't usually believed in.
The young man stared up at the stars and wondered who else was looking at them. Was he alone in the world. Was this, spinning ecological sphere all this world had to offer? Emro also wondered if there was some way out of this "vortex" of a place. This, black hole that sucked travelers into his beautiful wooden doors.
Emro shook his head clear of thoughs. "Gah, I gotta stop thinking so much." He laughed to himself.
He flipped a lock of hair out of his red eye. "I haven't really met anyone here yet. Kinda odd, its a rather large place." Emro said to no one in particular.
Emro found himself infront of a small pond, the moon casted a reflection which lured the gaze of his eyes. He seemed to be in his own little world. Taking pleasure in the small things that life had to provide.
A lonely feeling swept him over, and tried to not stay dwelling on the event that happened a week ago. Emro was very open and social, but ever since he was run out of town, it was hard to do.

Jade had been out there for awhile as she liked to come out here just to be alone. She was sitting on the stone wall. Looking up at the sky as she was in her own world as well and didn't know there was another till she then heard him. She then snaped out of it as she looked around and her eyes then fall upon him. She didn't know if she should say anything to him. But did it anyway. "Hi." Jade then called out to him as was near by by she stayed sitting on the stone wall as she looked over at him and waited to see what would happen.

Emro heared a voice nearby. He glanced around trying to find who was calling to him. His glance fell upon a girl. Such a turn of events for him, hardly anyone had ever tried to make contact. Well, most people were superstitious about him. What he studied, maybe this was a new turn, a do over in life. A do over did sound good right about now.
The young man started walking towards the stone wall with a warm smile on his face. Finally, a new person for him to meet. He wondered what their story was for being here. She was very cute in appearence, and didn't seem afraid of him. There was nothing to be afraid about, as long as she wasn't superstitious like the people from his town. Maybe he shouldn't tell her about his studies. Might be a good thing for him to do. Maybe.
"Why hello there, my name is Emro" He said, holding out his pale hand. His red and white eyes stared into her's.

Jade then watched him as she was able to get his attetion and she saw him coming over to where she was. She was smiling at him as she looked him over. She saw he had two diffenert eyes. She ener seen that before, but she didn't care as she liked it. Jade was one that didn't mind being differnt. He was cute to her, but she didn't let him know. Jade then heard him said who he was. "Hello Emro. I am Jade." She said back to him as she reached her hand out and got his as they shaked hands. Jade then let go of his hand as she loked at him. "You can join me if you want." She said to him.

Emro found it to be quite odd that she was being so kind, he needed to stop being to negative all the time. This girl, Jade was it? She was oddly happy like, even though she is doomed to eternity here like he was.
Emro shaked her soft hand and gave her another smile. Looking up at the stone wall, he nodded to her question, and climbed up on the wall. He sat there next to her, and resumed looking up at the stars. This was a new thing to him; being around other people. Emro didn't care much for the human race. They were a doomed specie anyway, but time to time he found himself talking to some stranger, but now that he was trapped her, he if forced to interact, or he might go insane.
"Sure is a nice night, isn't it, Jade." He really didn't know what else to say.

Jade was watching him as he then had joined her up on the wall. She saw hi look upat the night sky and heard what he had said to her. "Yeah it is." She said back to him she was always a night person as everything seemed to come more live then in the daytime. "How did you end up here.. if you don't mind me asking?" She then said to him as she looked over at him then turned her head back up to the stars. She didn't like just sitting there quitly as she always had something to say, even if it was good or bad. Jade was always one to speak her mind no matter what.

Emro started to grin at her question. His fingers ran up and down the quartz around his neck. "How did I end up here? Ah yes, a tale it is. A tale of how the human race proved how ignorant it is. Well, my dear companion, it was a few weeks ago. I'm a fairly new prisoner here.
You see, I'm a researcher or things people don't believe in. The Paranormal, UFOlogy, Cryptozoology and The Occult. The mysteries in life intrigue me.
I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone. Well, I was working on some medicine and I would treat people there, since not everyone can have health care. People began to think I was some sort of Child of Satan, or worshiped him. You know, things of that nature. A couple days down the road they forced me out of my house. Maybe even burnt it down about now. No, they have burnt it down. So I wandered for days and eventually found this mansion. In some twisted way, it saved my life."
Emro smiled at her. "So, if you wish to tell your tale. What is it?"

Jade was sitting there as she listened to him tell her how here got here. "People are itdois." She told him. She was all about the wierd things that was made life so much better to her. She then heard him said she can tell her story. "Alright. but it isn't as good as yours." She laughed some. "I was an oraghen at the age of six my parents where both killed. I still don't know what had happend to them. I lived in a oraghage for many years. But, there was too many rules and i just couldn't stand being one one place. So I run away when I was about ten. I was living on the strees and I took from others whatever i need to live. I had done this for awhile, till a guy got a hold of me as i had tried to take his money. The guy then took me to his house where he then raped and beat me. I was locked up in his house for years as I took his beatings and rape over and over again. When I was 16 years old I broke out of there and ran away and I knew the guy was after me as he wouldn't stop looking.That is when I came upon this place." Jade said to Emro.

Emro looked down. He felt selfish. He dwelled that his story was the worst there could be. Being shunned by a community, but something like this. A young girl, only sixteen years old, being all alone in this world, and then being raped multiple times.
She was like him, being rescued by the mansion. Maybe the mansion was both good and bad. Jade was sheltered from her rapist, and he had a place to stay, where he was safe from his town.
"Jade, we really aren't that different. We both were saved by this mansion. It appeared to us in our times of need. When you needed rescuing, and when I needed help." Emro needed to gather more stories to draw another conclusion.
Then he went forward. "So, I heared people take roles here. Slave, Master and Neutral." He laughed. "I didn't want to be forced to do things, so I became a master. Which one are you?"

Jade heard what he had said to her as she then turned to look at him. "Yeah I guess your right. It did help us out, in a wierd way." She tld him as she then heard what Emro had said next to her. "Yeah they do." She told him as she had agreed with him. "I am a slave. I didn't really have choice. People just made me one as there had forced me to do things for them." He told him.

Emro smiled at her. "Well if you want I'll be your master, so you don't get a rude master and or a hurtful one." He really didn't want her to get abused again. It painded him to think about.
He looked around for nothing in particular. Nothing really was coming to mind, the whole master thing kinda made it awkward for him. "So, how long have you been here?" He asked the girl, with a smile.
Emro moved his fingers along the quartz necklace. "So, what is your opinion on the unexplained?" He asked. "Are you a believer?"

"Alright, you are me master." Jade then said to her. "I have been here for two years." She then said to him, even through she still looked like she was 16. The curse doesn't let them age and stay young forever. Jade then heard what he had asked her next as she looked at him. "I am a believer. This earth and the universe is huge and just because we can't see something doesn't mean they they ain't real. I am sure there are more living things then just us." She told him.

Emro smiled at her and slid his hand into his pocket. He withdrew a blue quartz necklace and placed it around her neck. "There, that will be the mark that you are mine. There are manys lores about this necklaces. Some say they will glow only if you are looking for the person, and if the person is near. That these necklaces will protect you from spirits. And some that have forgotten."
This girl seemed to be growing on him. She was also a believer in the unexplained, and she also had a good reason.
"Jade, would you like to go for a walk?"

Jade was watching Emro and then saw him take out a blue quartz necklace. She just let him put it around her neck as she then heard what he had told her about it. "Wow." She said back to him as that was all she could say. She hadn't seen anything like it as she was looking down at it Jade heard what he had asked her. She then looked up at him. "Sure, it beats just sitting here." She then answered him back. She was getting tried of just sitting and wanted to do something anyway.

Emro smiled at her and looked at the quartz necklace around her neck. He had a few of them and was glad he managed to snatch them before he had to leave the house. They were only symbolic things, but he just had things just to have them. You may never know when you need to keep away spirits.
He nodded "Yeah it does. I can only stay in one place for so long" and jumped down off the the stone wall. It was rather hard to tell what time it was here, but he was sure it was late-ish. Emro waited for her to get down off the wall, and waited to see if she would need any help. Getting up was always the easy part, getting down wasn't.
He yawned softly and shook his head. Sleeping wasn't a thing that he did often, there was too much to observe here. So many people and so many places, he couldn't think about sleeping, and being exhausted rarely ever showed on him. "Well, any places that you would like to go, or would you like to just wander?"
