((prefer stronger master))
Arien worked at least three jobs, always two a day. The third one sometimes fell upon a day where he had to work the other two, but it depended. Nonetheless, he was tired even from one, considering they were all manual labor type of things. He didn't complain however, for he needed money to pay for his hotel room, which was keeping him from going home, and having to live with his father.
It was late afternoon, and entering early evening as the male walked. He hadn't felt like going indoors, and so had strayed toward and unfamiliar path, in order to investigate. He hadn't been over to this part of town before, and figured since he had nothing else to do, checking it out wouldn't be a problem.
He saw a mansion in the distance. One he didn't know existed. He made his way toward it, and as he came to stand before the gates, he pressed his hand up against one, and it swung open. He glanced around, but saw no one, though he didn't look closely. Finding it safe, he stepped inside, and started up the path.

The days were long and slow, and Rider was becoming bored as time had passed. When was there going to be some excitement in her life? At the moment, she wouldn't mind a slave to give her some enjoyment in life. The lavender haired female sat on the balcony of the huge mansion just fiddling with the twin chained iron nails that she carried with her just about everywhere. As she sank into her train of thought, the sound of an opening gate had caught her attention.
"My, My yet another victim has enter." She murmured quietly to herself under the dark purple mask, "Well then...maybe I shall welcome the new guest to the family." A devilish grin whipped across her lips as she jumped off the balcony just landing on all fours. Rider was recognized for her cat like movements since she was probably the only insane woman who would actually make a jump like that.
The masked woman adjusted herself so that she was facing him directly. There was about a good few feet between her and the boy that stood in front of her. She could only imagine the look on his face after just witnessing first hand the event that took before him just a matter of seconds ago. At the moment, the large iron nails rest lifelessly on her side because she found no use in using them at the moment.
"What do we have here?" Her tone was sickeningly sweet the moment she opened her mouth, "Another lost soul that will perish in eternity?" She seemed almost insane, almost; Rider wanted to enjoy herself while she still could. She could only wonder what the results would be. The girl hoped that he would last a little longer before heading toward the gate. At the moment she was having a little too much fun from this.

Arien came to a halt when someone suddenly dropped down in front of him. His green eyes inspected Rider, narrowed with confusion, and interest. How had she just jumped from that great height, and landed without a broken ankle? In fact, she didn't seem to be injured at all, nor concerned with the height she'd just fallen.
His eyes first located the band of cloth around her eyes, and second, the chain with the nails attached. His uncertainty was written clearly across his face, as was his confusion. This woman was an oddity, as were her words, and actions. He didn't quite understand what was going on, and her speech proved to only further muddle his mind.
What did she mean by a soul that will perish in eternity? The male glanced over his shoulder at the gate, then back to Rider, "What are you talking about?" He inquired of her, his voice smooth.

A cold laughter echoed in the empty area that surrounded both of the them. She walked closer toward the male as the long lavender hair fluttered in the air behind her. Fingers played with the chain that was clasped to her side just itching to use it. Though now she needed to inform him about his whereabouts before wanting to go for the kill. Rider brought her hand to the mask on her face unable to stop herself from laughing. How naive one could be once they entered the grounds of no return.
"What am I talking about?" She could only hope that she was closer now though there was a chance he could have backed away from her like she was a plague, "Do you even know where you are, boy?" The words stung like a thousand needles as they came out in a low dark hiss. Rider seemed to be the only one who was having fun with this. The boy, however, seemed to be utterly confused on what she was talking about. He may have labeled her as crazy, odd, and insane, but that only made things more exciting for her.
"Boy this place is Haruka Mansion," She used that sickeningly sweet voice once again with him, "A cursed place..." Rider knew that he wouldn't believe her; all those who have entered the first time never did believe her. "One way in, no way out." She stated the quote darkly, "You may leave if you like, but you will die trying." The words came out too much as a threat though she knew she wasn't going to be the one killing him. No, the curse would do that all on it's own. A soft giggle erupted in her throat at the very thought of watching someone turn to dust.

Arien stood his ground, not wavering in the least as the girl approached him. His eyes narrowed when she laughed, but he did not seem frightened. His attention left her face for a moment, returning to the chain, and inspecting it. Why she carried such a weapon, he did not know, but he was quite sure this would not be done simply to have something to lug around. It had to have a use. He remained where he stood nonetheless, crossing his arms over his chest. He truly wasn't afraid of his woman.
No, he did not know where he was. This part of town was foreign to him, and he had not traveled this far before. It was not often that he had time to take detours between work and home, nor the energy to do so. Had things not worked out as they had today, he wouldn't have been there. But things had gone as they had, as he was at the mansion now, and according to this female's words, he wasn't leaving.
The name sounded familiar, but he couldn't quite place it. His green eyes narrowed to near slits when she finished speaking, his expression hardening. Sure she was coming across as rather insane and perhaps not right in the head, but that wasn't someone just made up. Well, perhaps a insane person would, but was it worth finding out? He wouldn't even be alive to know the answer, if what she said was true.
He didn't seem to believe her however, though he wasn't quite dismissing the fact. He decided he wanted to find out, "Interesting." He said, playing if off until he knew whether or not he was truly trapped, "Does this apply to everything? Or just people?" If it applied to everything, a rock would do as a test subject. He could throw it through the gates, and see what happened.

Well, Well it seemed like the first time ever that anyone was gutsy enough to ask for a test. Rider was liking him more and more by the second; she couldn't wait until he decided his rank among the house. If it were to be a slave, then she would use her power to make him hers. Her hand slowly slipped from the mask as she fiddled with the chain again. Oh how she wanted to use it already. Rider shifted her head downward momentarily before looking up again. She had to think about her question since she, herself, was only just learning about the mansion.
"It's only human life that cannot leave," She smirked happily as she turned toward the mansion and made her way to the door, "I will be back in time to show." The female twisted her head to the side so that she could have a full view of him. Unclasping the chain from her side, Rider walked inside slowly just calling how a name. In minutes she returned with a girl dragging behind her. She had been tugging her by the chain around the slaves neck almost to the point of choking her. Though she could careless of what happened to since she was going to die in a moment anyways.
"Now then sir," Rider giggled insanely once again, "Watch and see..." Her full face was directed in Arien's direction just tugging the slave forward. She had no patience for such a little slave to act out at a time like this. Rider removed the chain from the neck and just pulled her by the hair. "Behave...I'll end your misery quite soon." Thin lips whispered in the ear of the slave as she smiled darkly. Rider couldn't help herself from enjoying this day; it seemed to be getting better and better as they days went on. She hoped that moments like these would last at least another lifetime.

Arien's eyes narrowed when she said she'd be back in time to show. It didn't take a genius to figure out she meant she was going to prove it to him, but the only way to do that was with a human life. But before he could protest, she was gone. When she returned, she was dragging a young girl by a chain attached to her neck. He uncrossed his arms without notice, eyes resting on the female's face.
"No." He said quickly, hoping to stop her. If what she was saying was true, then he didn't need someone else to die to have it proved to him. He wasn't willing to take the chance that that girl's life would be over because the supernatural thing that had just been explained to him wasn't something he was sure he believed.
She was willing to go to such measures, however, which swayed him. There was just something about this that made him think it was true. And even if it wasn't, it didn't seem so bad. His whole life had consisted of him taking care of himself, and everyone else. The only one working, the only one doing anything progressive. As it was, he didn't have much of a life at the moment. Work, sleep, work, and sleep. He was always incredibly fatigued.
A soft sigh escaped his lips, and he glanced at the gates, before his attention turned back to Rider, "I believe you."

Only inches away from the gate, Rider dropped the girl down the full force as if she was a mere rag doll. Her hair swept across the child's face just directing her head toward her. The female looked up just shivering as though she could see the pale irises and know how she was looking at her. Now turning back to the boy she just smiled sweetly, though it was a smile that anyone could see right through. Honestly, she wasn't doing it for the sake of proving herself right, but Rider always got some enjoyment from throwing the innocent outside the gate.
She unwrapped the chain from around the slaves neck and kicked her in the side. Slowly Rider began walking toward Arien as she curled her toy up and clasped it to her side. "You believe me, you say?" She spoke dully taking one final glance at the girl as she ran passed with barely a scratch on her body. "What a lucky little girl she is..." Murmured the masked woman, "I would have honestly killed her if you didn't stop me." Though clearly in the future she would never do something like that. She would of just thrown her out and watched the girl turn to dust.
Rider walked toward the mansion with hands crossed over her chest, "Well then, who are you?" Her tone was rough and hard seeing no fun in this anymore. She could only imagine the look on his face if she didn't stop. Oh, how she would of loved to see that; it would have been splendid. A hand reached for the mask again just adjusting it a bit even though she somewhat wanted to take it off. Though doing so would bring the dead into her vision; what a troublesome little power she had. Before opening the door, Rider turned to him as lavender hair whipped slowly across her face. "There is a rank system in this house, Master, Slave, and Neutral." Now a grin appeared vividly, "Choose your place and then you may enter." Though he could have entered before choosing, but then it would be no fun if he got away from her. "I, myself, am a master here."

Arien had truly believed that Rider wasn't going to stop. His gaze lingered on the girl, and he watched her until she disappeared back into the mansion. He would not have been happy had the other female tossed the slave through the gates, for her death would have been on his hands. That wasn't something he wanted. Really, he was a pretty moralistic person.
His green eyes flickered back to Rider, and narrowed. She would have killed the girl? Was this woman insane, and really capable of doing such a thing without a second thought? Something in his mind answered that question, and so he truly doubted that the answer was no.
"My name is Arien." He responded, slowly trailing after her, seeing as he could not go in the opposite direction. That was an interesting fact to contemplate, and truly one that made him quite hopeless. But really, he hadn't had much of a life before entering those gates, so perhaps he would have one now. He flipped his right arm over, and trailed a finger down the jagged scar that lined in the inside of his wrist. A constant reminder of that very life.
The male came to a stop before Rider, turning his arm back over, and letting his other one rest at his side as well. Her words intrigued him, "Why would anyone choose to be a slave?" He inquired, finding how that girl had been treated, and wondering what had driven her to choose that role. The only reason he would ever choose it, was because he perhaps wouldn't have to take care of himself any longer, which he'd been doing near his entire life.

She tilted her head to the side as strands of hair fell in front of her mask. Seeing that he was new, Rider knew that he wouldn't know much of the happenings within the mansion. "You'd be surprised at how many of our slaves loved the thrill of certain types of pain." As she spoke, she slow walked into his direction seeing a small height difference with only her heels on. With only a few inches between the two; Cold pale hands were brought to his shoulders pulling herself up to his ear. "When you live in a place where you can never die," Her voice was soft like fluff, but cold as ice, "One could only ask for more and more pain."
Her statement was something for him to think about. Though it was quite connected to her first statement that she made before. All souls who enter shall perish in eternity within this mansion. Rider could write a poem if she wanted to if she wasn't so busy causing havoc from within. Taking a few steps away from the boy now she held the handle of the door though not making any move to opening it yet. She wondered what rank would he choose since she was obviously interested.
"Have you picked your rank, Arien?" She spoke in a very out of character way. It was too calm and too kind to sound like the woman she was only five minutes ago. Rider was almost sick of herself for putting something like that on. It was the first in her life that she started talking like that; shaking her head quickly caused a whipping fest with her hair as she came to a slow stop. She had hoped that he would choose to be a slave because if he did; she would do anything to make him hers.

Arien stiffened beneath Rider's hands, and he felt her breath in his ear. A shiver ran down his spine as she stepped away, and his gaze lingered upon her. It was odd to him how her words seem to make sense, and how he could easily believe that. His eyes widened slightly for a moment as he comprehended something she said. A place where you can never die? Then... He was immortal.
His gaze slowly drifted to the ground, the fact that he was thinking quite obvious. His entire life had consisted of pain in a way. It was something he was used to, like a companion almost in his life. It was always with him, because his father was always drunk, and always using him as a means of expelling anger, and frustration. It was only recent that he moved out.
He could never be a master, because morally, he could never tell anyone what to do. He was always the one being told what to do. He couldn't treat someone like someone might treat a slave. As for being nuetral... Well, that still involved him having to take care of himself. For some reason it was set in the boy's mind that if he were a slave, he wouldn't have to really take care of himself like he'd been doing. Even now, though he was playing it off quite well, he was exhausted from work, and wanted nothing more then to lie down.
His gaze returned to Rider, then flickered to the door. Her words affect on him was strong, and when combined with his past, and his uninterest in continuing to take control of his life, he just shrugged, and gave in. If he gave someone else control of him, he no longer had to look out for himself, "I suppose..." He adverted his gaze for a moment, then switched it back to Rider, "A slave."

Rider registered his answer and only small flicker of sinisterness could be seen vividly. Bringing one hand to her sleeve, she pulled out a small razor that had yet to be used. Moving toward him again, Rider made a cut upon a small cut upon her flawless hand and one upon his. She figured that he wouldn't mind since he probably felt worse pain than that. The masked woman looked up at him with a quick smile as she slowly wove her fingers with his. "Then you shall belong to me." Her long hair brushed against his body just tilting her small little head to the side. This was her contract with her slaves and frankly this was one of her first. Since the day she had entered the mansion, Rider was one who was slave-less.
"This contract will bind us," Rider spoke to him in a foreign voice that seemed to no longer belong to her, "and if you dare to break this...may the dead haunt you in your dreams." It ended with a short giggle as she pulled him slowly toward the mansion doors. Rider was completely at one with herself at the moment and now she knew for sure that he could not escape from her; if another tried to steal him then she would find a way to kill them. A hand pushed opened the front door to the mansion as she began to walk inside slowly. "You can have my room," She turned to him just waiting for him to follow her inside, "I don't use the bed since it isn't high enough." Rider really did sound like a cat sometimes when she spoke about these certain things.

Arien stiffened at the sight of the razor, a reflex his body had learned. It was a reaction to the possibility of pain, making him tense, and ready to move should he need to. He didn't move however, and watched as she cut her hand, then took his, and did the same. He didn't even flinch when the small cut stung, and his face showed no pain, merely curiosity. He felt her lace her fingers inbetween his own, and take his hand. He knew their blood was touching at this point, and not only did he wonder why she was doing that, but it freaked him out a little. It was a bit odd.
He glanced down at where her hair touched him, for he'd been concentrated on their hands, and that had surprised him for a moment. He paid it no heed however, turning his attention back to Rider. He frowned slightly at her words, and the tiny laugh that came after it. Before he could speak, she was suddenly dragging him toward the manor, and he simply decided to remain silent. He wasn't quite sure what to say anyways, because really, this all just felt like a dream.
Or a nightmare.
"High enough?" He inquired as they entered, not seeing why that mattered.
