Personality: Ericen isn't the most open of people. He prefers to keep things about himself, to himself. Near his entire life he's been looking out for one person, and one person only: himself. So he can come across as a little conceded, and selfish. He's had to take care of himself most his life, so this is why. Because he hasn't had to provide for anyone else, he also often got what he wanted.
He had a very shaky childhood however. Up until he was about 8, his father was around, but from that age, and back a few years, only greeted Ericen with a punch or a shout. He left one year, and didn't reenter the boy's life. In all honesty, he's actually a fairly scared spirit, due to this, and the way his mother was. She was always drunk, and treated him like his father did. It made him quite afraid of the pair of them.
However, he covers his fear with anger, and quick words. His temper, basically. He attempts to come across as bold, and indignant, and hide the fact that he might actually be afraid of the person he's talking to. He doesn't care about people though, and what they think, for his entire life, no one has cared about him.

His father was around up until he was eight, though the man was quite violent toward both him and his mother. Said mother cast him out when he was only 13, not that he cared too much, because he hadn't liked living with her anyway. She took the anger her husband put upon her, and put it into drinking, which then came out in the form of throwing bottles at the young boy.
He learned to steal, to fight, and to take care of himself. He puts on a strong facade, and avoids contact with people. Its uncommon that he finds a place to stay at night, though somehow manages to stay fairly clean. He's friends with owners of several kinds of shops, which provide him with free necessities. He does odd jobs for these people occasionally.
