He doesn't care about the curse or it's effects, he lives in the moment and if asked about what he beliefs are he'll shrug and ask 'why does it matter?' but not depressingly, just simply that he does not see why it is of importance, if not effecting him right now. He's just simple.

►History: ________Jinx cannot remember his past, but it's not like he's ever tried to recall it. He's content at just simply being. He knows, some how, that his mother's name was Cassandra, and what she looked like (they look quite alike, only she a women and he a boy) and her voice (fair and melodic), but that is all that he knows of his past. It makes him frown when people pester him about it, for some reason they seem to accuse him of running away. He always wonders why, because what could he possibly be running from? ________If only he knew...
________In truth, his mother had been a lovely young woman, but was accused of witch craft because a rich snobby man had fallen for her. He had threatened to take away her home, and she being a widow with little Jinx there with her without his father---he mysteriously disappeared after the rich man fell for Jinx's mother---, this being said, Cassandra believed there was no choice but to give in, for Jinx's sake. Once the wife of the rich man caught him in the affair, he promptly accused her of witch craft used to seduce and intoxicate him, and immediately a mob went to Cassandra's and Jinx's small humble cottage to burn down. They surrounded the house in the dead of night, by the time Cassandra heard the disruption it was too late to save them. She quickly covered Jinx in a blanket---he was nearly three or four then---and held him through the flames and fire. All throughout the burning, his mother looked into his tear filled eyes as he panicked and told him not to look away; she told him stories of the fire as he watched her hair burned away, and when he noticed her flesh begin to go crispy, she bid him just to look at her eyes. So into her eyes he gazed, seeing the reflection of himself in them. She died a smile on her face, glad to give up her life for her child. ________Truth be told, she really was a witch in the end. Some people in this world were given a certain amount of magic to use, and she used up all of hers to protect her baby---Jinx. So really, if the burning hadn't happened, then she'd never been a witch; but because it had, she was one, in the end. ________She was never revenged, because no one ever knew of the injustice. Not that she would've wanted it; she was a gentle soul. She'd never hurt a living or nonliving thing on purpose in her entire existence so help her. Although she truly did, a bit badly too. Jinx, after the long stares that they shared as she left to meet her maker, he had lost his vision partly then, and now the sunlight hurt him much more then it should. He stayed in doors then, and eventually just decided to sleep during the day and go about his business at night. Throughout the rest of his life, he was taken care of the rich man who had raped his mother (although he didn't know that). He was abusive to him, calling him witch's son, and endlessly trying to get him burned at the stake, but the mobs would not form for him again. They didn't really like the boy, and kept away from him because of the suspicion of being a boy witch, but still, he hadn't done anything yet. Supposedly, Cassandra had seduced someone. Jinx obviously hadn't. He kept to himself, was polite when asked of something, and otherwise didn't really exist. The rich man, however, continued his abuse because, despite that the town believed that Cassandra was a witch, his wife had not been so foolish and now not only thought him a cheating manwhore, but a murderer as well. She'd left him. ________And that was Jinx's first ally. She met him by the well where he was getting water out back, and she was dressed as a gypsy woman. She'd went back to her old life, because the manwhore had so called "fallen in love with her" and she him. They were no longer quite so young, though, nor quite so foolish. But still, when later Jinx saw her dance it was just as beautiful as any young woman. ________She helped him away from the place, all he had to do was steal the manwhore's money from a drawer that only she and her ex-husband had known about. That was simple, and then they were off, traveling, through the forests and towns, living in taverns with her friends, who all soon became Jinx's as well. ________It was them who taught him to cook, but the real skill was instinctive, passed down from his mother. He'd never really known his father, but it was the simpleness of his thoughts that he had gotten from him. Cassandra had always over thought things. If it had been his father's personality confronted with the man whore, he'd have killed him in a moment and dwelt with the punishment later. Cassandra, however, had considered it a duty to protect her son's well being. She knew the hopelessness of it; that she would always die in the end, despite the injustice. Besides, she could never murder anyone even if it meant her own life. ________Misfortune found Jinx once more as plague struck the town which he was currently dwelling in with his new allies---although they were no longer new; he'd been with them so long now that he called the manwhore's ex-wife Ma. It was she, though, who told him to get away. The plague was too horrible, and the outsiders came in to slay the people so that it would not spread more. She told Jinx to run. And, in panic, Jinx did. ________A year after wandering on his own, doing odd jobs, and drowning his young sorrows in much too strong whiskey so that he could not remember while he was under; after a year of that, he stumbled upon the mansion. He went inside, and a member whom he can no longer remember nursed him back to health. Once he was at full spirits, however, he could not function with these memories. He wallowed and soon decided to kill himself. The mansion member, though, would not allow that and so he/she wiped his memories clean all together, excluding the knowledge of the daily functions (language, hygiene, etc). After that happen, he was fine. He cannot remember, nor is he ever trying to.
________However, beyond his own reasonings, he holds his necklace of his mother's ashes dear.
